With over 10 years of post-production experience and more than 20 years in the industry, I have collaborated with partners like the Seahawks, Sounders, and Kraken to produce long-format shows and web content for their social media.
I helped launch KCPQ's "Seahawks Saturday Night”, where I produced each week's Mic'd Up segments and did the post-production editing for several seasons. In 2022, I helped launch "The Spotlight with David Rose". As their lead editor, I did everything from help select content, to ensuring the post-production editing and final output of the news magazine program met FOX 13's standards each week.
While collaborating successfully on many projects, I am often given freedom to utilize my unique technical and stylistic expertise. I constantly strive to improve my skills by learning the latest non-linear workflows, file management, and broadcast standard best-practices and have delivered several seasons of television shows.
Along with improving my knowledge of video production techniques, I fuel my creativity and draw inspiration from my many hobbies. This year, I got my SCUBA certification in the cold waters of the Puget Sound. In 2022, I started archery and roller skating. During the pandemic, I began learning to paint with new mediums like watercolor and gouache, adding to my long list of other hobbies like snowboarding, hiking, swimming and fiber arts.
I am always excited to share new ideas and can always be relied upon to have creative solutions. I have been often asked to provide feedback and training to other staff editors.
